Auburn Bay Residents Association

At Brookfield, we believe people are the heart of every community. Residents become neighbours and neighbours soon become friends.

Exclusive Membership

Your exclusive membership in the Auburn Bay Residents Association is automatic and mandatory with the purchase of an Auburn Bay home. Membership dues provide the necessary resources to maintain Auburn Bay's exclusive facilities for the enjoyment of all Auburn Bay residents. The fees for the Residents Association could be as high as $400.00 for standard lots, $550.00 for lake access lots and $800.00 for lake lots. These prices are subject to annual inflationary increases. Initial fees charged may be lower than these maximum fee limits.

Auburn House is your Residents Association

The Auburn Bay Residents Association (ABRA) is a not-for-Profit company that is professionally managed and operated.  The ABRA is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the assets of the community, such as the entry features, amenities, Auburn House facility, lake and park, for the lasting enjoyment of its membership, the property owners. With a Residents Association, membership is mandatory for all property owners in the community.

The Auburn Bay Residents Association also coordinates a wide variety of recreational programs and special events that are run in Auburn House and the Park.  Refer to the Auburn House Program Guide for information on programs and events.

Auburn House is NOT a Community Association

Community Associations are volunteer organizations, established with support by the City, and are dependent upon sponsorship and fundraising in order to operate. Community Associations are known to be involved in organized minor sports such as Soccer, Baseball and Hockey, but are also the political voice of the Community, and work with City Officials in establishing social policies. They are the voice of residents if playground zone areas are required, speed zone reductions are requested, issues arise regarding signage control, etc. Membership is voluntary and could involve members from several different communities.
